Press Release - MAPAC against violence in Libya

MAPAC strongly condemns the killings and violence perpetrated against the protesters in Libya by security forces. We believe in their God-given rights to non-violent protest and are appalled at the tactics of the Libyan government under Gadhafi, who has ruled for more than four decades. Live ammunition, planes, and other equipment of warfare have reportedly been used against the people simply for marching through the streets. MAPAC will be reaching out to politicians at the state and federal level to make it clear that we as Americans cannot stand for this brutality.
